Like the original, it's made from exceptionally hardwearing Vinylon fabric and has a distinctive shape with adjustable straps and practical storage. A small pocket on the back of the bag is ideal for your phone and other small items.
Kanken wouldn't Kankenom without Vinylon F. It is an incredibly hard-wearing and water-resistant fabric that has made Kånken popular over the years. Being a synthetic material - it is made from a fiber called polyvinyl alcohol (Polyvinyl alcohol) - it has certain properties that in most cases are found in natural materials.
Durable moisture protection. The fabrics used in backpacks usually require a coating such as polyurethane (PU) or silicone to ensure water resistance. Vinylon fiber, in turn, behaves like a natural material, but when wet, the fabric fibers swell and tighten the weave, which prevents moisture from penetrating and eliminates the need for synthetic impregnations. This, coupled with its excellent durability, is one of the reasons Vinylon F Kanken has been used since the late 1970s.
