Travel bags – this is luggage that appeared right after archaic bags and chests, long before suitcases, and everything else.
Oddly enough, they're just as relevant today as they were 200 years ago. This is no accident, as travel bags – the most versatile and convenient thing you can think of. "Longevity" travel bags – this is a consequence of the variety of applications of this type of luggage. These are travel, everyday trips to work, sports, and much more. It is not always possible to use the same bag and, as a rule, there are several of them in the house. For example, for work and sports, one volume may be suitable, but a road trip for a couple of weeks requires more things and other volumes. - The most popular one is a travel bag. Most often it is made of waterproof fabrics of various colors. Usually bought in classic – black, blue, grey. But experienced travelers often choose bright colors. Bright-colored travel bags are easy to spot among others on the conveyor belt. And interestingly, according to statistics, luggage of bright color is practically not stolen, and less likely to try to get into it. By volume, these are bags of 35 liters or more, often even more than 100 liters!
- Large bags are handy, in our experience, for stowage of oblong objects such as a tripod, fins, etc. In addition, they fit perfectly in the trunk of a car, even if there are several of them, due to the lack of a rigid frame.
- Even large travel bags have an adjustable shoulder strap. Pay attention to the convenience of lifting handles, remembering that when loaded they can put a lot of pressure on the palms. It's good when the handles are fastened together and are very ergonomic.
- As for zippers, in our opinion it is convenient when they open not along, but around the perimeter. Then you can easily stow personal items and even large boxes. Things wrinkle less and it's easy to get something from the bottom without laying everything out.
- It's great to have little feet at the bottom. And it's good when they are sewn around the perimeter. Avoid strongly protruding legs attached to a rivet. This is easier for the manufacturer, but not better for the bag.
