Visconti Bum Bags

Visconti bum bags are designed for the everyday essentials that no longer fit comfortably across clothing pockets. The brand's defining feature in this narrow category is a consistent three-section layout: a front pocket, a main compartment, and a rear pocket. Each section opens separately, so reaching for keys or a travel card does not mean opening the compartment that holds everything else.

This arrangement is particularly convenient around town and while travelling. Frequently used items can stay at the front, bulkier belongings in the centre, and flat documents, a wallet, or a card close to the body. The three sections create the order instead of one shared cavity, keeping belongings separated without a complex internal organizer.

Two profiles with the same organization

Visconti uses the same compartment layout in two different proportions. The 720 measures 30 x 13 x 9 cm: it is shorter in length but deeper. The Bumbag Large 721 extends to 35 cm, while its height is 12 cm and its depth is 7 cm; this version also has a flatter front pocket. The Large name should therefore not be read simply as a promise of extra depth: the bag is primarily longer and slimmer.

The shorter body is convenient when a bum bag should take up less room along the waist and the contents can be arranged in greater depth. The longer profile spreads belongings more evenly across the body and projects less at the front, but needs more clear space around the waist. With the same set of a phone, keys, wallet, and small accessories, the difference is felt less in the number of compartments than in the fit and distribution of the load.

The appearance can also be varied without changing the basic layout. The range includes soft leather and oil-treated leather with a distressed finish; the latter has a more varied tone and surface. Both designs use an adjustable nylon strap, while the Large version adds a leather trim panel to the webbing. If both body profiles fit well, the leather finish and color become the main distinction, while the three closed sections and separate access remain the same.
