Samsonite Securipak 2.0 is a series of urban backpacks for everyday movement, tech gear and trips with a suitcase. Its main idea is not built around open pockets or quick outside access, but around a more protected access logic: the main compartment opens from the back panel, while the exterior includes hidden pockets, a top pocket with RFID protection and a hidden bottle pocket.
Samsonite is an American brand founded in 1910. In Securipak 2.0, its luggage background is easy to feel: the backpack is not just made to carry things, but to help keep an everyday set separated, tidy and less exposed from the outside.
The series is based on polyester with recycled PET and a soft construction. This is not a rigid backpack with a framed geometry. At the same time, the series does not look completely shapeless: the brand mentions an enhanced structure designed to help preserve an urban shape. That is why Securipak 2.0 is better seen as a soft city backpack that looks more composed than a regular fabric format, without turning into a hard shell.
When empty, the backpack feels softer. Once packed, its shape comes through the way the items are arranged inside: laptop, tablet, accessories, bottle and small daily essentials. The larger the model, the more noticeable the luggage logic becomes. This is especially clear in the 17.3" version, where a shoe pocket and cross ribbons are also confirmed.
Inside, the series works through separation. The 14.1", 15.6" and 17.3" models have a laptop compartment, while some models also confirm a 10.5" tablet pocket, internal organisation and a zone for a power bank. This is not an empty volume where everything is placed together. Items are distributed across zones, and the transparent mesh pocket in some models helps separate smaller items from the main load.
The exterior elements are designed for calm movement through the city and on the road. Hidden side pockets do not overload the front. The top RFID-protected pocket suits items you do not want to keep in open access. The suitcase sleeve helps pair the backpack with luggage, while reflective details add visibility in motion.
Securipak 2.0 works well in an urban setting, on the move with tech gear and during trips where the backpack often stays behind your back: in transport, at the airport or between daily stops. But this is not an outdoor travel series for active use and not a rigid framed backpack.
