Two ways to carry and organize a soft travel bag
Snowball travel bags in the Coimbra and Urban Tote lines differ in how they are carried and organized. Coimbra follows a classic duffel layout, with two top handles that fasten together, a removable adjustable shoulder strap, and three exterior pockets. Urban Tote is carried by two long handles; documents can go into the rear zipped pocket, while smaller items can be separated inside. The choice therefore starts with how you prefer to carry the bag and reach your belongings, rather than with color.
Coimbra bags are made from 900D polyester. The compact 40 cm version measures 25 × 40 × 20 cm, holds 30 L, and weighs 0.5 kg; the 50 cm version measures 28 × 50 × 25 cm, holds 48 L, and weighs 0.65 kg. The main compartment includes a mesh pocket, while the exterior has a front zipped pocket and two open side pockets. Tickets or keys can stay separate from clothing, and a bottle does not need to go into the main compartment. The removable shoulder strap is particularly useful when the bag must be carried separately from a suitcase.
What changes with Urban Tote
Urban Tote bags are made from 420D nylon with genuine leather trim and do not use a separate shoulder strap. The sizes differ substantially in capacity: S holds 12.5 L and weighs 0.415 kg, M holds 40 L at 0.5 kg, and L holds 63.6 L at 0.55 kg. The dimensions also increase with capacity, from 31 × 28 × 14.5 cm to 55 × 35 × 20 cm. The S, M, and L labels therefore represent different packing needs, from personal items for the day to a larger travel load.
Both lines include a sleeve for securing the bag to a telescopic suitcase handle, so it can serve as an extra piece of luggage without being carried by hand throughout the journey. For a flight with strict baggage limits, compare the Coimbra 40 cm dimensions with the airline’s current allowance rather than relying on the XS label alone. Start with Coimbra if you need a removable shoulder strap and quick access through side pockets. If long handles, internal pockets, and capacity matter more, start with Urban Tote.
