Bond NON briefcases are intended primarily for A4 documents and small work essentials that should not all share one open space. Across the range, there are designs with two or three independent compartments, zipped divider pockets, sections for cards and pens, and exterior pockets. Choosing within this category therefore starts with deciding how many groups of items need to be kept separate.
Bond NON does not limit its interiors to one layout. Classic models place the main sections beneath a flap with a clasp, while business bags may have two independent zipped compartments or a central zipped section paired with side compartments. This makes it possible to look for a layout suited to a particular mix of documents, devices and small items instead of simply choosing the largest bag.
How many compartments do you actually need?
Two independent compartments can separate a document folder from the items used throughout the day. In more divided briefcases, individual sections can hold several folders, a planner and personal belongings, while zipped divider pockets keep smaller objects away from the main contents. Bond NON also offers simpler business bags in which one main space is supported by pockets for a tablet, documents and small accessories. The number of large compartments should therefore match the items that need to remain separate, rather than an abstract idea of maximum capacity.
Choosing between a structured briefcase and a soft business bag
Structured Bond NON briefcases commonly use a flap with one or two clasps, a single top handle and a divided interior. Soft business bags more often close with a zip and have two handles plus a detachable shoulder strap. This is more than a visual distinction: first decide whether you need a traditional briefcase carried mainly by hand or a bag that can regularly be carried over the shoulder. Strap material, width and adjustment range vary, so these details are best checked on the individual product page.
Check any device you plan to carry separately. Room for A4 documents does not mean that a correctly sized protective compartment is present: selected Bond NON models list pockets for a tablet or another device, while laptop compatibility is stated separately. If a laptop is part of the daily load, start with the screen-size filter and compare the device dimensions with the briefcase specifications. For documents without a laptop, the number of compartments, closure and carrying method will matter more.
