CAT City Vibes is a series of urban and travel-oriented formats where the choice is built not around one universal model, but around a specific use case. The line includes backpacks in different volumes, a waist bag, and a crossbody bag, so City Vibes is better understood as a range of options for daily movement, a laptop, personal items, and short trips.
CAT is an American brand connected with Caterpillar and its history dating back to 1925. In City Vibes, this practical foundation comes through in a calm way: the series does not move strictly into business or outdoor territory, but offers several formats for the city, travel, and compact carrying.
The series is based on 420D Ripstop RPE / RPET polyester, an urban format, and organization that depends on the model. The backpacks have a confirmed laptop compartment for devices up to 15.6", side pockets, and A4 compatibility. Some models also include a tablet pocket, front zip pockets, a front elastic cord, and a waterproof zipper.
It would not be accurate to describe the entire series as having one shared construction. The way each item behaves depends on the model, volume, and how it is packed: the compact 13 L S, the medium 20 L M, and the 22 L travel-oriented L will already feel different because of their size and intended scenario.
Inside, the series works through basic separation of belongings. The backpacks have a laptop zone, while selected models also include space for a tablet and open internal pockets. This helps keep tech separate from smaller items, but it does not turn the whole series into a complex business line with extended organization.
The external logic also changes from model to model. Side pockets provide space for quick-access items, while some models additionally have fabric side pockets for a bottle. Front zip pockets work as a zone for smaller items that should not be buried deep inside. The front elastic cord on selected models adds an external fixing point for separate items, but it should not be treated as a feature of the entire series without reference to a specific backpack.
In terms of scenarios, City Vibes ranges from a compact everyday backpack to a more spacious travel format. The S is closer to light urban carrying, the M fits the role of an everyday backpack for a laptop and personal items, and the L moves toward a 22 L travel option. The waist bag and crossbody bag cover more compact carrying when a full backpack is not needed.
CAT City Vibes will suit those who are not looking for “the most universal backpack,” but for a specific format for the day: a compact urban option, a backpack for a laptop, a larger model for travel, or a small bag for personal items.
