CAT Millennial Classic is a backpack series where there is no single universal model for every task. The range includes everyday city formats, laptop-oriented options, and the more travel-focused Bobby model with a carry-on logic. So the choice here should be based not only on appearance, but on the actual scenario: city use, work, study, daily essentials, or a short trip.
CAT is connected to the American Caterpillar brand, whose history began in 1925. In Millennial Classic, this practical foundation is present without being overstated: the series is built around daily use, a laptop setup, and clear organization of belongings.
The common base of the series is 600D polyester and a practical internal layout. This is not a line with one confirmed unified construction: the models differ in volume, organization, external elements, and travel-oriented details. That is why Millennial Classic is better understood as a set of CAT backpacks with a similar style, not as one backpack offered in different sizes.
Behavior depends on the specific model. The more compact Benson works as a 22 L city format. Barry and Bennett are closer to everyday 30 L backpacks. Bobby is noticeably larger: 35 L, a travel-oriented format, a large main compartment, and elements designed for trips.
Inside, the series is built around separating belongings around the laptop area and basic organization. All confirmed models have a laptop zone, but it is implemented differently: a sleeve, a compartment, a rear pocket, or a soft zippered pocket. The laptop size also changes from model to model: from 15″ in Benson to 17″ in Bobby.
Some models include front organization, internal pockets, or an organizer. This helps keep small items out of one shared space: pens, keys, cables, and smaller accessories can sit separately. At the same time, a dedicated document compartment is not confirmed for the whole series, so Millennial Classic should not be seen as a strictly business-oriented line for office folders.
The external logic also changes from model to model. Barry, Bennett, and Benson have side pockets. Benson has separately confirmed side pockets for bottles. Bobby has a luggage strap, top and side handles, a compression panel, and side straps. This is no longer just a city backpack, but a format that makes more sense during travel, when the backpack is used alongside luggage.
Bennett stands out with its expandable construction and reinforced 1680D polyester bottom. Barry stays closer to an everyday scenario, with a front organizer and side mesh pockets. Benson feels like a more compact city option with an internal organizer, flat bottom, and compression straps. Bobby is the largest option in the series: 35 L, a laptop area for up to 17″, travel handles, and a luggage strap.
This series will suit those who see CAT as a calm city or travel backpack with different choices in volume and organization. If you need a compact backpack for the day, Benson is the more logical direction. If you need an everyday format for a laptop and small essentials, look at Barry or Bennett. If you need a backpack for short trips and carry-on use, Bobby is the stronger fit.
