Hedgren Cocoon is a collection of everyday city backpacks built around the basics: A4 documents in some models, small essentials, and quick access from the outside.
This isn’t about travel or tech carry. It’s simpler than that - you organise your вещи across compartments and keep what you use most within easy reach.
Hedgren is a Belgian brand founded in 1993 in Antwerp. In the Cocoon line, two elements stand out: polyester with a water-repellent coating in COMFY and a quilted exterior finish.
In terms of feel, the series doesn’t impose a rigid shape. The construction isn’t defined as structured or semi-rigid, so the backpack doesn’t hold its silhouette on its own - it forms around what you put inside.
When empty, it looks softer and more relaxed. Add your вещей - and the shape appears, but it depends on the contents rather than a fixed structure.
You notice this in everyday use. Items can be spread across compartments and pockets, so you don’t have to open the whole bag every time you need something small or a bottle.
COMFY has two compartments inside, along with a zip pocket and an open pocket - a basic level of separation without complex organisation. BILLOWY is simpler: one main compartment with more volume, where everything sits in a single space.
On the outside, COMFY features a zip pocket, a hidden pocket, and two open side pockets. Keys, small items, or a bottle stay within easy reach - no need to access the main compartment each time.
Travel-focused features are not central here. A luggage sleeve, cable pass-through, RFID, and dedicated security elements are not defined as part of the construction. This is not a backpack for tech or travel use, but a more straightforward city format.
Cocoon works for those who need a backpack for daily essentials, documents, and quick external access. If you’re looking for a laptop-focused backpack, a model with a luggage sleeve, or one with structured back support, it makes sense to consider other collections.
