Hedgren Inner City is a series of city backpacks made for everyday movement: work, commuting, errands throughout the day, and short trips. Hedgren is a Belgian brand founded in 1993, and Inner City clearly reflects its calm urban logic without an overloaded look.
The series is built around recycled RPET material, a water-repellent coating, RFID protection, and internal organization. This is not a hiking or outdoor line. These are backpacks for everyday city use, where a neat shape, access to essentials, and internal separation matter more.
When empty, the backpack feels softer and more relaxed. Once packed, its shape appears through the way the items are arranged inside.
The series is not built around one identical format. VOGUE Small is closer to a compact city backpack for daily essentials and a tablet. VOGUE L offers more space but follows the same logic: a main compartment, pockets, an RFID zone, and room for a tablet. VOGUE XXL covers a wider scenario: it has a 14" laptop compartment, A4 format, internal pockets, a phone pocket, and a bottle zone.
The Inner City organization is not about one large empty space. It works through separation. Smaller items can be kept apart from the main contents, while documents and tech in the larger model get their own placement logic. The RFID pocket covers the scenario for cards and small valuables.
On the outside, the series stays clearly urban. In VOGUE Small and VOGUE L, the main compartment opens from the back panel, which changes the access logic in crowded places. The front pocket helps keep frequently used items closer. VOGUE XXL adds side pockets and a bottle holder, making it better suited not only for a short day, but also for a busier route through the city.
Inner City ranges from a compact day backpack to a roomier format for a laptop, A4 documents, and city travel. But this is not a series focused on a hard shell, ventilated back panel, sternum strap, waist belt, or trolley attachment.
Hedgren Inner City is worth considering if you need a neat city backpack without visual overload: from a small format for everyday essentials to a more organized model for a laptop, documents, and moving through the city.
