Samsonite Ecodiver is a series of backpacks designed for the city, travel, and carrying different types of loads, without a single universal format for every situation. Inside the range, there are urban models with laptop compartments, travel-oriented versions, and formats closer to a duffel/backpack. Samsonite is a U.S. brand founded in 1910. Ecodiver follows this logic: not one model for one task, but a series with multiple formats - from everyday city use to travel.

The foundation of the series is built around recycled Recyclex materials, water-repellent fabric, and a travel-oriented external setup. These are not just daypacks: some elements work in motion - a side pocket for a bottle, a front pocket, a luggage sleeve, reflective details, and a sternum strap on some models.

The construction type is not defined as soft, semi-rigid, or framed, so Ecodiver is not perceived as having a fixed shape. Its behavior depends on the specific model and how it is packed - how items are distributed inside and how much volume is used. More compact versions lean toward everyday city use: laptop, accessories, daily essentials. Larger ones shift toward travel and carrying a different volume of items.

Internal organization is not uniform across the series. Some models include a laptop compartment, a tablet pocket, internal pockets, and an organizer. This creates separation of space, but the level of organization depends on the model. It makes sense to look not only at the volume but also at how the internal layout is structured.

External elements function as part of real use. The SmartSleeve allows the backpack to be fixed onto a suitcase handle during travel. The side pocket covers the basic need for a bottle. The front pocket provides quick access to items you don’t want to place in the main compartment. Reflective details increase visibility but do not turn the backpack into specialized outdoor gear.

Ecodiver works best in scenarios where one backpack moves across different environments: city, transit, short trips, or carrying a larger set of items.

The limits of the series are also clear. There is no confirmed rigid construction, no unified internal layout across all models, and no focus on a technical hiking back system. USB ports, hip belts, side compression straps, and duffel-style formats are limited to specific models.

Samsonite Ecodiver suits those who are not looking for a single fixed format, but for a series with different solutions depending on the task, from a city laptop backpack to a more travel-oriented option with a different volume and usage logic.
