First impressions of Sanmorris are pretty straightforward. You pick the backpack up, and it feels soft, textile-based, with no rigid frame. When empty, it slouches a bit and doesn’t hold its shape on its own. Fill it up, and it adapts around your вещи, but never becomes structured or firm. In hand, it feels light, slightly “hollow.” There’s no sense of a built construction here. More like a simple everyday tool. And for this segment, that’s completely normal.
You notice it right away in the city. Open it up, and instead of one big cavity, you get several pockets and sections. Small items don’t mix together, your charger doesn’t disappear to the bottom, documents stay separate. There’s no overthinking in the layout. You don’t need to learn it or memorize anything. You just put your stuff in and go.
With a laptop, it’s simple. There’s usually a pocket, sometimes a dedicated section. But it’s a place for a laptop, not a protected zone. It sits inside without a suspended bottom or real фиксация. If you carry it carefully, it works. If you expect protection, that’s a different story.
Under load, the backpack stays soft. The shoulder straps are soft too, without strong support. The back panel doesn’t feel structured. With a normal daily load, it’s fine. Sanmorris doesn’t feel like a brand with a strict internal standard. Similar-looking models can differ in small details. Some have more pockets, some use simpler fabric, some have cleaner zipper finishing. This is one of those cases where you don’t just look at the brand-you look at the specific model.
Materials are mostly soft textiles. The backpack doesn’t hold shape and adapts to what’s inside. That can be a plus-it doesn’t feel stiff. But visually, it can lose its form over time. How exactly depends on how you use it. There’s no clear, consistent picture of long-term wear.
For travel, it works as a secondary item. You take it with you, pack documents, cables, small essentials. Some models include a luggage sleeve. But this isn’t a backpack that replaces a suitcase. It works alongside it, not instead of it.
Sanmorris is usually chosen when you need a straightforward everyday backpack without high expectations. School, office, city, short trips.
