Travelite Kick Off is a series of backpacks for travel, everyday movement and active leisure, where the choice starts not only with size, but also with the way the backpack will be used. Travelite is a German brand founded in Hamburg in 1949, and Kick Off clearly reflects its practical travel logic: pack for the day, prepare for a short trip, move through the airport or use the backpack as part of your luggage setup.
The series is built around polyester and features several construction formats within a single collection. It includes a cabin backpack, a backpack bag and a wheeled backpack. That is why Kick Off does not feel like one backpack offered in different sizes. The purpose changes from model to model: in one case it is a regular city backpack, in another a flight-friendly format, then a travel bag with shoulder straps, and finally a wheeled backpack with a telescopic handle.
The brand does not define one single construction type for the whole series. So it would not be accurate to call Kick Off a soft, semi-rigid or framed backpack line. Its behaviour depends on the specific model. Polyester provides the fabric base, but the shape is not described by the brand as fixed. Backpack M is closer to a classic day backpack. The cabin backpack works through adjustable depth and volume. The backpack bag opens up as a travel format with packing straps and stowable shoulder straps. The wheeled backpack is already closer to compact luggage, with wheels and a pull-out handle.
The internal layout also changes from model to model. Some backpacks have a laptop or tablet compartment: Backpack M and the cabin backpack fit up to 13″, while the wheeled backpack fits up to 15.6″. Some models include internal zipped pockets, packing straps, front pockets or side compartments. So items are arranged differently inside: some models follow the logic of a day backpack, while others are closer to travel packing, where it matters more to hold clothing in place and separate smaller items.
The external elements follow the same logic. Side pockets give quick access from the outside. The back pocket on Backpack M creates a separate place for small valuables. On the backpack bag, the stowable shoulder straps let you change the way it is carried. On the wheeled backpack, the wheels, telescopic handle and suitcase attachment move the model closer to a luggage scenario.
Kick Off is a good fit for those who choose a backpack for a specific scenario rather than looking for one universal model for everything. For the city, there is a more familiar backpack format; for a short trip, a cabin backpack or backpack bag; for moving with luggage, a wheeled version. The limits of the series are also clear: water-repellent fabric, back ventilation, sternum strap, waist belt and one consistent protective laptop layout across all models are not confirmed. So the main thing is to look not only at the series name, but at the specific model inside Kick Off.
