Crazy horse (Kreizi hors) is a type of high-quality, highly durable cattle leather.
This leather is obtained by applying refractory waxes to the surface of polished crust.
The colour of the coating mixture is darker than the background colour of the crust. As a result, the leather acquires the property of changing colour in places of creases, bends or tension – to become lighter.
The distinctive feature and peculiarity of this leather is its external vintage. Scratches and marks easily remain on the leather if it is caught with something hard. But in relation to this type of leather, this is even a plus, as it gives it an “antique” charm. Scratches can be easily removed if desired, just rub with something soft - a finger or cloth. If desired or necessary, you can darken the areas of leather you need on the product by additionally rubbing it with wax-containing compounds for leather using wool felt.
