The Osprey Archeon Chest Rig is an ultra-durable, compact, and uniquely functional 4-liter pack designed for urban minimalists, everyday users, and tactical travelers. Made from premium 100% recycled 840D Ballistic Polyester with a super-durable protective carbonate coating Nano-Tough™. This coating guarantees maximum resistance to wear and abrasion. Thanks to the eco-friendly PFAS-free DWR water-repellent treatment and protected zippers, your belongings and electronics will be completely safe in the rain.
Key Features and Modularity:
- Belt Pack Conversion: Thanks to the removable suspension system, the Chest Rig can easily be converted into a waist pack by connecting it to the removable hip belt from the Archeon 40 backpack.
- Backpack Attachment: Equipped with four quick-release buckles, it is compatible with the shoulder straps and accessory straps found on Osprey Archeon 24, 30, and 40-liter backpacks.
- Low-Profile Design: The slim, anatomically shaped suspension design allows the bag to be comfortably worn on the chest or back under another main backpack, without restricting movement.
- Premium hardware: durable large zippers YKK #10 with a protective RCPU coating ensures smooth operation and moisture protection. The straps are made of 100% recycled nylon, inspired by durable automotive seat belts.
Internal organization:
- Full opening: The main compartment features a two-slider zipper and opens fully for quick access to the contents.
- Intelligent zoning: The interior is divided in half by a thick partition, creating two large, isolated compartments.
- Additional pockets: Inside the main compartment, there is one hidden zippered pocket and two open mesh pockets with elastic bands for secure storage of small items.
- Second compartment: A separate, roomy zippered compartment with one slider contains a sturdy carabiner for securing keys.
- Front area: On the front outer panel of the bag, there is a convenient slit zippered pocket for quick access to glasses, a smartphone, or cards.
