Tony Perotti money clips cover distinctly different ways to carry cash. At one end of the range is a miniature leather holder where a magnet secures the notes. At the other is a horizontal money clip wallet with a metal clip, card sections and, in some designs, a coin pocket. Within one brand, the choice is therefore about more than color: it is also about whether the clip should carry cards and coins.
This range is useful when a conventional wallet feels excessive but a simple clip is no longer enough. Tony Perotti keeps the notes under a separate clip and adds card storage or a coin pocket around it. The differences become clearer when the starting point is what needs to stay with the cash, rather than the collection name.

From notes to cards and coins
The most pared-back Tony Perotti format folds around a stack of notes and closes with a magnet. It has no card sections or coin pocket: this is a dedicated cash holder rather than a reduced wallet.
The next level uses a hinged metal clip inside a leather body. Six or eight card slots may surround it, along with half pockets and inner pockets. The notes remain under their own clip, while the accessory also performs some of a cardholder's tasks. Here, the number and position of the sections determine the choice.
More functional Tony Perotti wallets add a coin pocket to the clip and card sections. In one design, the coins close with a magnet beside two clips for notes; in another, they sit beneath an outer snap flap. Not every design has a coin pocket: its presence separates a banknote holder from a compact wallet.
The collections pair these constructions with different leathers. Italico is described as firm bull leather with a pronounced natural grain. Cortina uses smooth, soft Nappa calfskin, and an embossed star identifies the collection instead of Tony Perotti branding. New Contatto stands apart through soft, matte leather with a grained texture. Texture changes the appearance, but it does not replace a check of the internal layout.

If notes are all that remain in your pocket, the magnetic mini clip is the more direct option. Cash and several bank cards call for a metal clip with the right number of slots. Once coins join them, the closed coin pocket and the way it opens become the deciding points. The choice moves from contents to construction, and only then to collection, texture and color.
